As a Vim guy I mapped the caps lock on ESC instead of Ctrl but the spirit stands. And I love your creative way to use the LED. This is pure genius! :)

Interesting. I used vi/vim for about ten years, but the key to the left of A has always either been control or in my way. :) It actually *was* control on many of the older keyboards I have around the house.

From what I can tell, the LED tool doesn't work when you have an external keyboard plugged into a MacBook Pro. My team of developers has verified this on our 15" 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo systems. Can anyone else share experience?
